SUper Friends August Swap Cards

Hi, everyone!  I have some fabulous fall projects to share with you today from the most recent gathering of my demonstrator team, the SUper Friends.

First up is this stunning card by Jana.  She gold embossed, sponged, then die cut the leaves, using the Vintage Leaves Stamp set and Leaflets Framelits Dies Bundle:

The designer paper in the background is from the Bohemian Designer Series Paper package.  The greeting is from the Sheltering Tree stamp set, and is on a bit of Burlap Ribbon with a Linen Thread bow.

Here's the inside:

Agnes created this cheery and bright alternate card with the Thanks a Latte Paper Pumpkin kit from July.  I love the addition of the Daffodil Delight card stock layer in the background, which is embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder, adding a great fall feel to the card:

I also love how Agnes added the flowers to the tea cup and colored it with markers and sponging! The perfect touch!

Cheryl created this adorable Halloween goodie box (complete with treats!).  She used Basic Black card stock and created the box using the Gift Box Punch Board.  I love how she finished it with the cute designer paper belly band (looks like the Typeset Specialty Designer Paper), some Lost Lagoon ribbon, and the perfectly punched tag, made using the Merry Everything Stamp Set and coordinating Note Tag Punch:

Diana inked up her new If the Broom Fits stamp set from the Holiday Catalog to create this awesome Halloween card.  I love how she inked around the edges of the stamped pieces to give it an extra spooky feel:

My new friend Margery, whom I met at Convention, was able to join us, and she made these fantastic bags using the Mini Treat Bag Framelits, the new Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and a special Paper Pumpkin stamp set available to demonstrators at Convention:

Don't you love the Gold Metallic Thread loops under the stamped pumpkin piece -- such a fun touch!!!  And, here is what was inside the treat bag:

Margery made her own twist tie with some card stock and wire, and stamped the bag!  Such a great touch!!

Connie created this gorgeous card using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set (and the rake from the Sheltering Tree stamp set).   I love how she colored the leaves!  I'm guessing this was with Stampin' Write Markers, so took a bit of time, but oh so worth it for the end result!!!  I also love how she used the new Corrugated Paper as a layer on the card!  (Can't believe I'd almost missed this in the Annual Catalog!!):

And, Connie decorated the inside of her card beautifully as well:

The letters are die cut using the Little Letters Thinlits.

Nancy created this elegant card using the Another Thank You stamp set.  I love the color combo and the stitched ribbon accents:

For my swap card, I decided to create a shaker card using the Happy Scenes stamp set and Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies (available together as a bundle for 15% off!):

I colored the stamped scene with Stampin' Write Markers, and sponged Pear Pizzazz for the grass and Pool Party for the sky.  The window is filled with Gold Stampin' Glitter.  The greeting is from the Happy Scenes stamp set, and punched out using the Washi Label punch.  The little flower, I stamped and cut out from the smallest leaf image in the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set.  The leaves behind it are also from that set, and there are small loops of Gold Metallic thread behind that.  The rustic wallpaper is from the Farmers Market Designer Paper (a little hard to see in the Annual Catalog (p.143), but the design is on the opposite side of the pear pattern).

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
