Wickedly Sweet and Thankful Forest Friends

Hi, everyone!  Happy Thursday!  I needed some thank you cards recently and had just gotten the Thankful Forest Friends stamp set, so decided to make my own version of the card near the top of page 42 of the Holiday Catalog.  Here's how that turned out at first:

I'd decided to swap out the Tangelo Twist for an ombre look with Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss on the greeting.  However, I thought the card still needed something more, and I didn't have any of the cute Into the Woods Elements like they used in the catalog (yet?!), so decided to pull out the stamp set from the September Wickedly Sweet Paper Pumpkin and create some more elements with that.  Here's how that turned out:

What do you think?  I really like the extra pop of color from those images.  And, had fun playing with my Stampin' Write markers to ink up the images . . . makes me want to go do some more!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Yep, that kicked it up a notch, Michelle! I can't tell where you used the crumb cake cardstock, unless you stamped the bear on it. ???

Happy Stampin',

Good catch, Connie! The layer on top of the Soft Suede is actually Sahara Sand, not Crumb Cake!
