Crazy for Christmas Treat Boxes

Happy Friday!  Hope you are having a great day!  I've been busy prepping today for this Sunday's Crazy for Christmas Class!  Have all the kit pieces cut and assembled now, just need to finish writing up some instructions for each project!

Anyway, thought I'd pop in here and quickly share the treat boxes that will be available to create.  Here's a photo of all of them together:

And, here are the close ups!

This first box is a "CASE" of the square pillow box on page 41 in the Holiday Catalog:

For class, we'll be using the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack's beautiful gold foil snowflake pattern for the window in the box (just didn't have it yet when I created this sample!)  And, don't you love the gorgeous Very Vanilla Subtle Stripes Ribbon and Winter Wonderland embellishment on this?!

I designed the next one, which is a tree-shaped box made using the Cutie Pie Thinlits, and decorated with images from the Jolly Christmas and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets:

I tied Gold Satin Ribbon around the box (though class attendees will also be able to choose to use Gold Glitter Ribbon on their boxes), and added a red foil tag (die cut from one of the pieces included with the Cutie Pie Thinlits) and a Glimmer Paper Snowflake (die cut with the small snowflake die from the Square Pillow Box Thinlits):

To step up the box a little, I added a strip of red foil paper around the bottom of the box and a dot (left after the tag was die cut) to my deer's nose to transform him into Rudolph:

And, last but not least is this elegant box I designed using the Curvy Keepsakes Thinlits and the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies:

The box is made out of Brushed Silver Paper and the Sleigh Ride die cuts are out of Shimmery White Card Stock, so this box has some sparkle (though it doesn't show up very well in the photos).  I also used images from Jingle All the Way, stamped on the vellum windows in Versamark, so when a battery operated tea light is placed inside, it becomes a beautiful luminary.  Wouldn't this be a pretty decoration on a mantle or hanging from the tree?

Thanks so much for visiting!  Leave me a comment and let me know which is your favorite box!
