The New Catalog is Here! (And, Open House Sneak Peek)

Stampin' Up!'s new 2016-17 Catalog is here!!!  Have you looked through it yet?  If not, you can do so by clicking here.

If you are in my area, you are also invited to join me for my New Catalog Open House, this Sunday, from 2-4pm!  I'll have a make and take or two, new products for you to see, and have been working on samples like crazy this week!  Here's how my new catalog samples board looked as I was getting started:

Pretty sparse then, but wait until you see it now!!!!  (For those who aren't local, I'll be sure to take a photo (with better lighting than the one above!) so you can see the samples better . . . will post it here probably Monday or Tuesday next week! Stay tuned!)

Some of the cards on the board you may recognize from the latest SUper Friends swap, and there are also some cards that are CASED (Stamper lingo for Copy And Share Everything) directly from either the new catalog or samples Stampin' Up! created for demonstrators to use!  How would you like to see closer photos of a few of those?  Well, if so, keep reading!  (If not, then maybe you better look away! ;) )

The first one is a sample that shows off the new Thoughtful Banners stamp set and Duet Banner Punch, along with the new In Colors Flirty Flamingo and Peekaboo Peach (I love how they pair with Watermelon Wonder, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay, which are the other colors on this card!):

The next card features the new Time of Year hostess set, plus a bit of masking, sponging, and embossing (colors on this card are Mint Macaron, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, and Melon Mambo):

And, last for now is one of my favorite samples from the new catalog!  You can see the card taht inspired mine on page 22 of the new catalog.  And, while the Endless Birthday Wishes set isn't new, this card beautifully shows off Sweet Sugarplum (gorgeous new ruched ribbon, ink to stamp the greeting and the watercoloring on the middle cake) and how nicely it combines with Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, and Flirty Flamingo (the color of card stock for the card base).  I also love how the panel with the cakes is cut at a diagonal!

Hope you are enjoying the new Catalog and hope to stamp with you soon!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
