Merry Monday: 3D Gingerbread Explosion Box

Happy Monday!  Can you believe only 6 days until Christmas!?!!  I have a fun Christmas project to share with you today that I created for my most recent swap with my friend Marlene.  Here is the outside of the box, which I created using Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper and Real Red Card Stock:

There's Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape around the bottom of the lid and the candies are punched out of the Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper:

The box top has a gingerbread house and candies fussy cut from the Candy Cane Lane Designer Paper, "Merry" banner created using the Sweet Home Bundle, gingerbread man from the Christmas Trinkets Embellishments (available at a discount as part of the Year-End Closeouts, while supplies last), the curlicue is from the Cheerful Tags Framelits, the Crumb Cake scallop circle is made with a die from the Layering Circle Framelits (also discounted as part of the Year-End Closeouts), and the stitched Whisper White circle is from the Stitched Shapes Framelits:

Here's the box open:

The house is created with the  Sweet Home Bundle (I used kraft card stock to make it look more like gingerbread), gingerbread man and woman from the Cookie Cutter Bundle (stamped in Soft Suede), the trees are from the Presents & Pinecones Designer Paper (available at a discount as part of the Year-End Closeouts, while supplies last), star and candies are cut from Candy Cane Lane paper or stamped and die cut with the  Sweet Home Bundle or Candy Cane Christmas set (also on discount as part of the Year-End Closeouts, while supplies last).  I added Metallic Enamel Shapes for a bit of sparkle in the trees and on the candy path.  And, the greeting inside is stamped from the Candy Cane Christmas set, on a circle cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, with curlicues from the Cheerful Tags Framelits.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
