The Global Design Project (GDP 453) has a fun color challenge this week: Basic Beige, Pecan Pie and Pretty in Pink. I decided to create a card with these colors using the Country Birdhouse Bundle and Country Woods Designer Series Paper.
I used Stampin' Blends in the challenge colors to color my birds and flowers. The greeting is on a tag cut from Basic Beige with the new online exclusive Greetings of the Season dies. I also cut a bit of Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon in half to make the bow through the tag. I added dimension to the birds' eyes with the black from the Pearlized Enamel Effects and the birdhouse and the flower centers with the copper from the Metallic Enamel Effects.
I also finished the inside of the card and envelope with stamped and colored images:
