Do you ever feel like you have too many projects going on at once? I'm there right now! The good news is that I just finished up two big crochet projects today, and I am very close to finishing projects for a Halloween swap! I will share more of those soon, but in the meantime, I did take a few minutes to make some backgrounds inspired by some pretty packaging I received a couple days ago! Here's the packaging:
First, I had to figure out how to translate the color of the envelope into Stampin' Up! colors. My first thought was that it reminded me of Pecan Pie, but when I put that next to the envelope, it didn't match as well as I'd hoped. I decided to try Copper Clay instead, and that was a much better match!
Then, I knew I wanted to do heat embossing with white, but had to figure out which stamp sets would give me the right look. I ended up making four different variations.
1. Spotlight on Nature stamps
2. Spotlight on Nature for the larger stamps, but then speckles from Country Birdhouse
3. Thoughtful Expressions Stamps with the speckles from Country Birdhouse
4. Botanical Beauty Background Stamp
Which of these four do you think is the best match to the envelope? Which do you like the best?
