SUper Friends December Gathering

On Monday, my SUper Friends demonstrator group had our December get together, and those who could make it enjoyed a yummy potluck lunch together, followed by a gift exchange.

For the gift exchange, everyone brought something that they'd made (handmade, not necessarily handstamped), and we did our exchange White Elephant style.  Agnes drew the first spot, and she ended up opening the gift I'd created, which was an altered chalkboard style frame and a rose wreath:

Connie S. went second, and she opened a rose wreath as well:

Cheryl opened up a beautiful quilted ornament made by Connie S.:

Then, Nancy opened up a hat crocheted by Jana:

Perfect fit!  Jana opted to "steal" the altered chalkboard and wreath from Agnes, who ended up opening a basket crocheted by Cheryl, filled with pumpkin bread and other goodies:

Connie M. went next and opened Agnes's gift, which was some candy bars adorably dressed up as snowmen:

Margery "stole" the crocheted basket:

So, Agnes opened another gift, which turned out to be a beautiful paper-crafted purse made by Margery:

I opened the last gift, which was framed artwork made with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits and Jingle All the Way stamp set:

Then, we did a fun punch art reindeer project, inspired by Dena Rekow (who has some amazing projects on her blog!)  For our "ridiculously cute reindeer," we decided to use pompom trim noses instead of a glimmer paper circle.

Margery also brought these fun elf goodie bags for everyone:

Connie S. made these adorable snowman nugget boxes:

And, I had wrapped up a pair of earrings made using the Winter Wonderland Embellishments (retiring, and currently part of the Year End Sale -- click here to see what else is on sale!!!) in a box made with the Square Pillow Box Thinlets (also retiring and part of the Year End Sale!):

Hope you enjoyed this peek into our December gathering!  Interested in becoming a demonstrator and joining our group of SUper Friends?  Please contact me for more info!
