Happy Easter Monday!

Happy Easter Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!  Wanted to share some fun Easter projects with you today that Marlene and I created for our last swap.

First are a set of bunny ears goodie bags that I created, using some pretty designer paper (Petal Promenade and Botanical Butterfly paper from Sale-a-Bration) and following the instructions in this video by Stampin' Xime:

I added a Clear Faceted Gem on the back for a tail:

The next project is a treat box I created using these instructions from Debbie Henderson and the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper:

Marlene made this amazing Easter banner with the December 2018 Day by Day Paper Pumpkin Kit and Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper

Marlene also created this fun large carrot treat box, embossed with the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and with a sweet little bunny tag made with the Best Bunny Bundle:

Marlene made this gorgeous and shimmery gable box, embossed with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and adorned with soft and beautiful images from the Wonderful Romance stamp set on one side:

The other side has another sweet little bunny tag made with the Best Bunny Bundle:

Fabulous Friends Friday: April SUper Friends Projects

Hi!  Happy Friday!!!  I have some fun projects to share with you from our most recent SUper Friends gathering, where we did another shoe box style swap!

Kallien designed a beautiful card for us with the Birthday Statements Cling Stamp set, which we colored with Stampin' Blends:

Judy-Ann gave everyone these adorable bunny bags, created with a Paper Pumpkin kit:

Jana taught us to add multiple colors of ink using the Stamparatus and palm tree from the Beach Happy stamp set to create this elegant card:

My first project was a set of two note cards made using the Tropical Chic Bundle and the Floating Frame Technique.  Here are the samples I brought to show, where I used one of the Stitched Shapes ovals to cut the "frame":

And, here are my finished cards from Sunday, using one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits to create the frame:

We also created a quick and easy basket treat box, made using the Window Box Thinlits Dies, and which was inspired by some baskets made by my friend Marlene.   Here is my finished basket:

Here are the baskets Marlene created for my guys:

I love the bunny tags she made for hers as well!

Hope you enjoyed these projects!  Thanks so much for visiting!

All Geared Up Cards

This week has been an exciting one in our household as my oldest passed his behind the wheel exam!  So, thought it would be a good time to share the card I made for his sixteenth birthday, using the Geared Up Garage Bundle and Black Ice Technique (click here to see a video by Melissa Kerman on how to do this technique) for the background.

I tried to make the car on the card look like his car as much as I could.   Here's a photo of it (first being delivered to us after its long journey from Kansas!):

This car has been quite an adventure so far, and I suspect will continue to be so!

While I was playing around with the Black Ice Technique, I also decided to try making a steam punk style Valentine's Day easel card, using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies and here's how that turned out:

Hope you like these!  The Black Ice Technique is great fun -- one I definitely will be trying again, and encourage you to give a try.

Easter Basket Treat Box

Hi!  A quick post today to share this Easter basket treat box that I created for a recent swap with my friend Marlene.   I used a pattern from Claire Brennan at Waltzingmouse Makes to create this basket.  The designer series paper is from the Share What You Love pack, which is on the retiring list (so only available until June 3 or while supplies last):

The lace-like trim peeking around the top of the basket is a strip of Whisper White Card Stock cut with one of the Delicate Lace Edgelit Dies.

If you'd like to see what else is on the Retiring List, please click here to visit the Last-Chance Products section in my online store.

Paper Pumpkin: Grown With Kindness (February 2019 Kit and Alternatives)

Hi!  Today (April 10) is the last day to sign up for this month's Paper Pumpkin kit!  We've been given a bit of a sneak peek here, and I'm really excited to see how this translates into the kit and stamps:

If you'd like more information or to sign up, please click here to go to my Paper Pumpkin website.

Since I have Paper Pumpkin on the brain today, I thought it would be a good day to finally share the cards I created with the February 2019 Grown with Kindness Kit!  I created nine cards, pretty much following the directions in the kit:

Then, I used stamps from the kit along with Stampin' Blends, the now-retired Doily Dies, vellum circles die cut with the Stitched Shapes Dies, Floral Romance Designer Series Paper, sequins, and various colors of card stock to create these cards:

Hope you like these!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Merry Monday: Pretty Packages

Hi!  For this Merry Monday, I thought I'd share some pretty packages, wrapped up with ribbons, tags and more!

First is a box containing an altered book tree I sent to my friend Marlene -- I tied it up with some Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon and added a tag created with the Stitched Labels Framelits, one of the Snowflake Showcase dies, and a Snowflake Element:

The next project is a box wrapped in Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper, and dressed up with flowers and tag created with the First Frost Stamp Set and Frosted Bouquet Framelits

After stamping and die cutting the flowers, I sponged them with Frost White Shimmer Paint, for a really pretty effect that went nicely with the frosted shimmer of the designer paper wrap.

For the next gift, I created a special trifold card, using the So Santa and Santa's Signpost stamp sets:

For the final package today, I dressed up one of the Baker's Boxes with Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. turned the window on the top into a shaker. and added a removable rose and snowflake ornament/tag, inspired by this ornament by Cindee Wilkinson shared on Patty Bennett's blog:

Hope you enjoyed these packaging ideas!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
