Fabulous Friends Friday: SUper Friends July Card Swap!

Happy Friday!!!  Hope you've had a great week.   It has been a busy one here, but I've been managing to work in some stamping -- I've almost finished a Paper Pumpkin kit from last July!  Well, technically two kits, which may be why it is taking me so long to finish creating everything I'd like to make with it.  :)

Anyway, it is another Fabulous Friends Friday, and this time I have some gorgeous cards to share with you from members of my SUper Friends demonstrator group (please let me know if you are interested in more information about the group -- we'd love to have you join us!).  This was a new catalog card swap, so each card features a stamp set or other products from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog.

Kallien was our swap hostess, and she gave each of us this fun chocolate-filled mini treat box, made with a piece of the Flowers for Every Season Designer Paper and tag created with stamps and die from the Nothing's Better Than Bundle:

Here's the lovely card Kallien created for the swap, with the Painted Poppies Bundle:

Here's the inside of the card, where Kallien used one of the Ornate Layers Dies to create a beautiful spot to leave a message:

Agnes also used the Ornate Layers Dies as part of her fun fold card, along with the fantastic designer paper, stamps, ribbon and more from the Ornate Garden Suite Collection:

Connie created her fabulous card using the Boho Indigo Product Medley:

Judy-Ann created this awesome shaker card, using the Pattern Play Bundle:

For my card, I (again!) used the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle:

Here are all the cards and goodies from this swap together:

So enjoyed creating and seeing what everyone created for this swap!!!  Great fun!  Thanks to Kallien for hosting and to her and the other SUper Friends who participated for their amazing creations!!!

Thank you for visiting my blog!  Hope you are inspired to create some fabulous projects of your own!

Fabulous Friends Friday: Marvelous Marlene Cards and More!

Happy Friday!!!  Hope you are having a fabulous day!  I have some amazing artwork to share with you today from my marvelously talented friend Marlene!   Thought it would be extra appropriate to share something from Marlene today, as this week marks the fifth anniversary of when Marlene and I met in person at a Stampin' Up! Convention -- we'd been swapping for some time before that, but it was great to meet, visit, and swap in person!!!!

First up is Marlene's card using the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle (I'm not the only one having fun with it! :) )  The beautiful designer series paper in Bumblebee is from the Flowers for Every Season Pack and I love how it coordinates with the black and brass grid design from the World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper:

The bumblebee element on the card is attached with a wobble element, so it shakes and moves.

Here's the beautiful inside of the card:

The next card has a fun kite element on the front that opens. Marlene was inspired by Debbie Henderson's cards here.  The designer paper on the kite and the coordinating envelope is from the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper:

Isn't the kite tail adorable, too?!

Marlene also created this amazing Double Z Fold Wiper Card using the Flowers for Every Season Suite Collection:

Here's a fun fold alternative Marlene created using supplies from the May 2020 A Kit in Color Paper Pumpkin kit:

Marlene's swap also included some fabulous 3D treats!  Marlene created this box of sunshine using the July 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit and one of the new mini Paper Pumpkin boxes:

Inside was filled with yummy lemon Jordan almonds:

Last, but not least, Marlene dressed up a colorful Salt Water Taffy baker's box and bonus bag with Artistry Blooms Designer Paper and perfectly coordinating Tricolor Ribbon:

Aren't these so much fun!!!  Thanks so much, Marlene, for sharing your wonderful works of heart!!!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

Blossoms in Bloom Stamped Bouquet Card

Hi again!  Today's card is yet another take on Blossoms in Bloom.  (Can you tell how much fun I am having with this versatile bundle?)  This time, I used only the stamp set to create a bouquet of flowers, finished off with a gingham bow and greeting from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set on a piece cut with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies:

Seeing Double with Blossoms in Bloom

Hi!  Hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday!  No complaints here -- have been able to do some gardening, go for a walk, listen to a town hall meeting for work, bake a cobbler with some blackberries from our garden, and have a fun video visit with a friend!  Hopefully, will add some stamping to that list pretty soon, too!  I am currently trying to finish up the A Little Smile Paper Pumpkin from last summer, and have some stamps and other products from the upcoming August-December Catalog out on my desk beckoning for my attention as well . . . but, I digress!  I do have some cards to share with you today, too!

I thought I'd continue along the lines of yesterday's post and share a duo of cards I created with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.  The Whisper White outline in the first card is the outline cut at the same time as the pieces I colored with Stampin' Blends for yesterday's card.  I decided to do these cards in blues (thanks to my talented friend Judy-Ann, who has created some beautiful monochromatic samples with this set, for the inspiration!).  I used Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, and Night of Navy on these cards, in addition to the Whisper White Card Stock, and layered or pieced the flowers together:

The "thank you" on this card is from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and is stamped onto a piece die cut with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.

On this next card, made with the outlines left from the Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy pieces on the card above, I stamped the Balmy Blue flowers and leaves under the outline:

The greeting is from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set and is on a piece cut with another of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  The bow is created with the Baker's Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

Hope you like these!  You can use the links above to check out the products I used in the online store.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Blossoms in Bloom Easel Card

Happy Tuesday!  Today I have an easel card to share with you that I created with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle.  This card started with some negative pieces I had left after die cutting an outline out of Whisper White.  I thought it would be fun to color them with Stampin' Blends (especially in the new In Colors) and piece them back into place.  Here is the card in progress:

The pieces are on a Misty Moonlight layer.  I cut a piece of Copper Foil with the outline dies to frame the pieces I colored.  I added a bit of the 1/4" Bumblebee Gingham Trim, and the greeting is on a piece cut with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies

Here is the card with the easel part up:

And, I used the stamps from the bundle with In Color Stampin' Pads to create a coordinating envelope:

This bundle is so fun to create a variety of looks!  I have some more creations with it to show you soon, too.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Fabulous Friends Friday: Fun Folds from Marlene

Happy Friday!  I have a treat for you today for Fabulous Friends Friday!  Has been a while since I've done one of these, and I just received a big box of amazing cards and goodies from my friend Marlene, so thought it would be fun to share a couple of the fun fold cards she made with you!

The first one is a Tri-Fold Corner Card made with the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper, Prized Peony Bundle, and Birds and Branches Bundle.  Here it is all closed up:

And, opened:

The second card is a Panel Pop Out Card with the Whale of a Time Suite!  Check this out:

Aren't these cards so much fun?!!  Thanks so much to Marlene for them!  And, thank you so much for visiting my blog!

Prized Peonies in 3D

In the last post, I shared a couple cards made with the Prized Peony stamp set.  Today, I have some cards to share with you made with the Peony Dies as well (available together in a bundle).   The first set of cards were inspired by the card on page 178 of the Annual Catalog.  I used the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper in the background.  For the twine, I colored Baker's Twine using Stampin' Blends.

There are five layers to the peony die cuts, and I sponged each of them before assembling.  I used lots of dimensionals on the petal layers to create the 3D effect for the flowers:

Here's a side view, to give a better idea of the dimension, and so you can see how the four main layers of die cuts for the peony all line up at the bottom:

The next project is a multi-colored peony tag I created to go on a gift I sent to a friend:

This tag was inspired by this pin.  My peony is colored with Stampin' Blends.  The foliage around it is from the Forever Fern Bundle.  Those are layered on a circle of Magenta Madness, that I die cut with one of the Layering Circles Dies, and embossed with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I layered that on to a couple of the Square Vellum Doilies (part of the Peony Garden Suite Collection).  The ribbon around the container is from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack.  The greeting is from the Forever Fern Stamp Set and is stamped on a piece die cut with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.

The final project today is another card I copied from the Annual Catalog, this time from page 83.  Here's my card along with its inspiration:

I made this card as part of a "CASE the Catalog" challenge during our last virtual SUper Friends gathering.  It was fun to see which cards everyone picked.  Peony cards were a popular choice, as were cards made with the Lovely You stamp set.

The background paper is again from the  Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.  One of my favorite dies in the Peony Dies is the scallop border, and this card shows it off on the Smoky Slate greeting tag.  I inked up just the part of the greeting used on the card with a Stampin' Write Marker and stamped.  The peony is cut in Very Vanilla and sponged with Petal Pink to match the designer paper and card base.  The leaves are Old Olive.

Here's a view of just the card:

Hope you liked these peony cards!  If you'd like to check out any of the supplies used to make these, please be sure to follow the links above to my online store.

Thanks so much for visiting!
