For our August SUper Friends swap, our theme was hot cards (think foiling, embossing, etc...). We actually all ended up hot foiling, and everyone use something different to do that!
Kallien foiled with the Sunflower embossing folder, and the combination of gold and Blackberry Bliss looks so rich and elegant:

Judy's stunning fun fold card features foiling with the Classic Greetings Hot Foil dies. She also stamped in Cloud Cover with the Begonia Belle Stamp Set, in Secret Sea with the sentiment from the Lily of the Valley Stamp Set, and added some strips of the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper:
Margery created personalized swap cards for each person in the swap, using the Luxe Alphabet and Numbers Hot Foil Dies. She letterpressed behind the name, using one of the Echos of Detail Hot Foil Dies. She added some Dreamy Flowers embellishments for a finishing touch.
Inside the card, it is easier to see that the entire card base is subtly embossed as well. Such a beautiful touch!
Sheila's elegant card is foiled with the Botanical Glow Bundle, which looks stunning in gold on black card stock, and the greeting is foiled and cut with the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies. Hard to see in the photos, but there is a layer of Vellum Shimmer Paper between the black card stock and the card base, that is so pretty! And, Sheila stamped the inside of her card with the stamps from the Botanical Glow Bundle.
For my card, I decided to case a card made with the Shimmering Scenes Hot Foil Bundle. I also heat embossed the greeting, which is from the Phrases and Frames stamp set.
