Fabulous Friends Friday: March SUper Friends Shoebox Swap Projects

Hi!  Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a great week!  I have a treat for you today -- I'm sharing some fabulous projects that the SUper Friends created a couple weeks ago at our March gathering.  We did another "shoebox" style swap, where some SUper Friends volunteered to bring a kit with everything needed to create a project, then we stamped and assembled the project during our gathering.   Great fun!!!

Jana was up next, and taught us how to make a Waterfall Mini Album (based on a creation called "SMAWOG" by Diana at stempidi.de, and adapted to inches for us by Judy!).  Jana brought several Memories and More kits for us to choose from, and I went with the Happiness Blooms Memories and More.  Here's how my album turned out:

Kallien showed us how to make this "Squash-fold" style card that she created using Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (a Sale-a-Bration item, only available while supplies last or until Sunday!):

Kallien also had supplies ready for us to make this adorable Reese's Egg holder using Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper and the Story Label Punch, which was inspired by this project by Beth McCullough:

Kallien also provided us this pattern she created for the box:

I brought along the supplies for this project -- a bunny-shaped wrapped nugget treat:

I also used the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper for these, along with "for you" from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, and Blossoms Elements.  The twine is from the Nature's Twine pack.

Hope you enjoyed these amazing projects as much as I did!  Thanks again to my SUper Friends for sharing them!!!  If you are interested in joining my SUper Friends, please contact me for more information on how to do that!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Botanical Butterfly Note Cards

Hi!  Happy Wednesday!  Today I'm sharing some note cards I created for a class last month that were inspired by this card by Lori Gray, which I found on Pinterest here.  I used the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration on my note card, for the strip of gingham and to punch out the butterfly with the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch.  Here are a few variations I made with different butterflies from the designer paper:

The dots in the background behind the butterflies are stamped images from the Beauty Abounds stamp set.  I also added a bit of Gold Metallic Thread behind the butterfly, and embellished with a few of the Daffodil Delight sequins from the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins Pack.  The greetings are from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.  The rectangle on which the butterfly and greeting sit is die cut with the wonderful new Rectangle Stitched Framelits.

For some fun coordination, I decorated the flap of the matching envelope with a Daffodil Delight strip of Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper:

There are only a few days left in Sale-a-Bration!  Don't miss out!  Please visit my online store to learn more about Sale-a-Bration and the Sale-a-Bration coordination items still available.

Paper Pumpkin 6th Birthday Party Photos and Projects

Hi again!  Also wanted to share photos with you today from yesterday's party to celebrate Paper Pumpkin turning 6 years old and the final days of Sale-a-Bration!

What would a birthday party be without cupcakes and snacks?

Here's the kitchen table set with the first project, which was to create one of the birthday cards from this month's Paper Pumpkin kit:

Here are some photos of the card I created, which varies a bit from the kit instructions because I substituted a cake created with the Piece of Cake bundle (stamped in Poppy Parade, colored with Poppy Parade and Bermuda Bay Stampin' Write Markers) in place of the numbers in the kit design for this card:

I finished the inside of the card as shown in the kit instructions:

I also set up a second project in the office, which Isabella decided was her favorite, so she was trying to guard it before everyone arrived:

This project is made with the Painted Seasons stamp from Sale-a-Bration, which is a Distinktive stamp set.  This is sort of a sneak peek of next month's Paper Pumpkin kit, which we know will feature a new, exclusive-to-that-kit Distinktive stamp!  Here's the little teaser we've been given for the April kit so far:

I love the images and colors on it!!!  Can't wait to see how that translates into the projects in the kit!  Be sure to sign up before April 10th if you'd like a kit of your own!  If you are not already a subscriber, you can find more information about how to become one here.

And, here is a photo of the project I designed with Painted Seasons:

The color combination used on this is Highland Heather, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, and Gorgeous Grape.  The saying is from the Part of My Story stamp set, which is also a Sale-a-Bration choice, only available for a short while longer.  The greeting is cropped with the Story Label Punch, one of the Sale-a-Bration Coordination Products (and a piece punched out of the Gorgeous Grape layer and cut in half is layered under the Whisper White punched piece).  The greeting is embellished with a couple of Glitter Enamel Dots.  The ribbon was from Sale-a-Bration but is already sold out.

Here are photos of cards and other projects I had on display:

I wish I had taken photos of the lovely ladies who came making their projects, but we were having too much fun stamping and chatting -- I forgot to get my camera out for that!

Thanks so much to those who came for making it a wonderful celebration!  If you weren't able to make it, hope I will be able to stamp with you soon!

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Merry Monday: Sweet Reindeer Tag

Hi!  Happy Monday!  Have a quick Merry Monday post for you today, and am hoping to do a bonus post shortly with photos from yesterday's Paper Pumpkin 6th Birthday Party.  So, stay tuned!

Today's project is a tag I created for some fun snacks I sent to Marlene as part of our Christmas swap.  I wanted to create something to coordinate with the packaging, and decided to go with a fun scalloped circle shaped mini-card/tag:

I cut the base and layer for the top of it with one of the scallop circles from the Layering Circle Framelits.  The stitched circle is cut with a die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits, which I also repeated inside the card:

The deer is from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set, and punched with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.  I colored the antlers, ears and nose with Crumb Cake and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers, respectively.  I added some Fine Tip Glue to the nose to give it added shine and dimension.  The snow behind the deer is Sparkle Glimmer Paper, die cut and then trimmed.  The trees, bow, and snowflakes are enamel shapes from the Santa's Workshop suite in the 2018 Holiday Catalog.  I used some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle to attach the tag to the package, and embellished with die cut snowflakes cut from Sparkle Glimmer Paper

Triple Time Needle and Thread Friendship Card

Hi!  I have a bright and cheery card to share with you today!  I created this card by stamping images from the Needle and Thread stamp set onto a 4" x 5.25" piece of Whisper White, and then die cutting with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits.  I adhered some of the pieces with Tombo Multi and some with dimensionals -- sort of a different way to do the Triple Time Stamping Technique!

Colors used are Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.  I  added a few of the Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins for a bit of subtle sparkle.  And, I used the same colors and images to create a matching envelope for the card:

Hope this brightened your day!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Tea for Two Card

Hope your Saturday is off to a great start!  Today, I have a card to share with you that I created with the Tea Together stamp set and coordinating Tea Time Framelits.  Tea is set for two on this card, and I had fun decorating my tea pot and cups by doing a bit of masking and stamping with the delicate images from the Beauty Abounds stamp set, and coloring them with Stampin' Blends (Petal Pink, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry):

The "doily" behind the tea set is created from Very Vanilla card stock cut with the Layering Ovals Framelits and embossed with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.   Behind that is a piece of the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The card base is Sahara Sand.  The greeting is from the Beauty Abounds stamp set, and is on a piece of Very Vanilla cut with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits ovals.

I'm feeling like I should go make a cup of tea and do some stamping!  How about you?

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Fabulous Friends Friday: Beautiful Bloom Cards

Happy Friday!  We're having some sunny, warm spring-like weather today, so I thought it is the perfect day to share some beautiful bloom cards with you that were created by my friends Kallien and Connie.

Kallien created this gorgeous card with the Happiness Surrounds stamp set and coordinating Snowflake Thinlets, which were available for a limited time last fall:

The next card, also by Kallien, features the Beautiful You stamp set and the Stitched Season Framelit die (available on the Clearance Rack now for a limited time):

Connie created this stunning card with the Serene Garden Bundle:

Connie did a wonderful job using the Stampin' Blends to color both her Serene Garden card above and the next card, which she stamped with the Country Home stamp set:

I find these cards so inspiring, and hope you do, too!!!  Thanks so much to Kallien and Connie for these beautiful works of art, and thank you for visiting my blog!

Fabulous Friends Friday: Marlene's Mermaid Card

Hi!  Happy Friday!!!  Have a fabulous card to share with you today that was created by my amazingly talented friend Marlene:

The background for this card is made with pressed flowers and watercolor paper, with gold sequins scattered about, and the mermaid is from the Magical Mermaid stamp set, which Marlene also used to finish the inside of the card:

Embossing on the back of the card front is with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.

Hope this magically wonderful card inspires you to create something magically wonderful, too!

Thanks so much to Marlene for this card, and to you for visiting my blog!
