Waterfront + Flowering Desert = Sedona-Inspired Easel Cards

While visiting my parents this Christmas, we took a day trip to Sedona, and that inspired me to create these cards, using the Waterfront and Flowering Desert stamp sets:

This is actually an easel card:

The card below actually is made with my first version of the scene, but I wasn't sure if I liked the lines stamped in the sky, so created the softer-looking, sponged sky in the card above instead:
