Season of Green and Gold Interlocks with Frosted Forest

Today's card is an Interlocking Fancy Fold Card.  I found the instructions for this type of fancy fold card in a video by Gina K.  For my version, I decided to use the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper along with the Frosted Forest Bundle.  One of the front panels features images fussy cut from the designer series paper.  The other has a tree that is stamped and has ink blended on with the decorative masks from the Frosted Forest Bundle (I also used those for the tree inside the card).

While I designed this as a birthday card, I think it would make an elegant Christmas card as well, with a different greeting inside.

City Sights Cards

Are you more a city person or a country person or something in between?  I'm more of a country person at heart -- while I do like to visit and explore cities, I feel much more at home when surrounded by trees and flowers than skyscrapers!

Today's cards are all about the city!  I made these with the City Sights card kit.  I liked these so well as designed, that I enjoyed putting them together without making any changes to the kit design!  Quick and fun!

There is a fun city skyline stamp and textures stamp that comes in the kit that I'm looking forward to using to make some more cards.  I haven't had a chance to do that yet, but am hoping to do that soon!

A Sweet Card CASE for GDP444

The current Global Design Project challenge is to CASE this card by designer Kayla Renee, and I couldn't resist playing along!  I decided to use Full of Life Designer Series Paper, along with the Ice Cream Swirl Stamps and Dies.  The candies, fruit and cookie are colored with watercolor pencils, and I used a chalk marker to add highlights.  I also added Wink of Stella and White Craft Ink splatters to the paper.  The greeting is heat embossed.  And, I finished off with some of the new Iridescent Faceted Gems in the splatter areas.

To finish the inside of the card, I added a strip of the designer paper and a strawberry.

I had so much fun with this design, and happened to have a couple more stray Ice Cream Swirl die cut pieces around, so finished them up into a couple more cards (look at me, card making and cleaning at the same time - ha ha!).  I used some different patterns from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper for these:

The greeting on this card was created with the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder, then colored with Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink and Petunia Pop Stampin' Blends.  I also added some die cut flowers from the Hearts and Hugs Dies and some 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems:

Which of these three cards do you like best?

Attention Shoppers Happy Birthday Card!

A quick card share today!  I made this card  with the Attention Shoppers Bundle, which will be available starting May 1st!  It was fun to cut a cart out of foil paper.  I actually stamped a cart in a lighter color to help with placement of the cart and the images inside it, which are colored with the new 2024-2026 In Color Stampin' Blends.

Only 3 days now until the new Catalog is here!!!  Are you getting excited?

Simply Sparkling STTC Guest Designer CASE

Last week, Stampin Through the Catalog had Maheswari Rajaguru as a guest designer, and I love the card she created (I think you should be able to see it here)!  I particularly love the layout that she used, the rich colors, layering, embossing and splattering!

I decided to play along, and thought it would be fun to challenge myself to use the Simply Sparkling bundle along with the Drizzling Droplets background stamp and the new Dotted Circles Embossing Folder (available starting May 1st).  I used die cuts to add lots of layers, and then the White Pearlized Enamel Effects to add some sheen to some of the "bubbles" and the straw.  I also used the enamel effects to add 3D centers to the flowers, which are die cut with the Hearts and Hugs dies (available starting May 1st).

My card base is Lost Lagoon, the long strip along the left side is Pretty Peacock, the bubbles are cut from Pool Party, the half circles behind the soda can are Petunia Pop (cut with the Spotlight on Nature dies), and the "You're Soda-lightful" pieces are Fresh Freesia card stock scrap pieces leftover from die cuts with the Garden Meadows arch die (funny how bits and pieces around my desk influenced how this card came together!  Does that ever happen to you, too?).

I decorated the inside of the card with coordinating pieces:

And, I love how large the new Dotted Circles Embossing Folder is -- you can emboss the whole card base with it!

Here's a little detail view of some of the Pearlized Enamel Effects in the flower centers and for the bubbles:

This reminds me I also added some gems leftover from the December 2023 Paper Pumpkin kit around the card front, too!

I enjoyed this challenge!  Hope you are inspired to give it a try, too.  Please let me know if you do!

Nancy also created this beautiful window card with the Noble Peacock Specialty Designer Series Paper:

Kallien's beautiful card features some fabulous products from the Magnolia Lane Suite Bundle (in fact, the flower accenting the greeting is cut from the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper using the Magnolia Memory Dies!  Gotta love that kind of product coordination!!!)

Barbara created this beautiful birthday-banner-wrapped card from the Banner Surprise Paper Pumpkin Kit:

Agnes created this merry card from the October Paper Pumpkin kit, as well as radiant cards with the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements and Feels Like Frost Specialty Paper:

For my card, I decided to do a spotlight technique inspired by this card I saw on Pinterest, using the Christmas Rose Stamp Set (part of the Christmastime is Here Product Suite, only available while supplies last!):

Judy-Ann also made treats for everyone using the Bone Appetite Paper Pumpkin Kit:

And, I did, too!

We had some yummy treats made by Kallien:
