If Life Gives You Lemons . . . Card

Hello!  One of the things I need to do today is squeeze a bunch of lemons from our (perhaps overabundantly productive?) lemon tree and make some lemonade!  So, seemed appropriate to share this card, which I created to show at a workshop last week:

I combined the Coffee Cafe bundle with images from the Lemon Zest set for this card.  For the glass of lemonade. I stamped the glass in Night of Navy onto Watercolor Paper, which I'd painted with a wash of Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist and Peekaboo Peach for a fun ombre effect.   The lemon slices were done using the rock and roll technique with either Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach or Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lime Twist.  The designer paper is from the Eastern Palace Specialty Pack.  I also added a few Glitter Enamel Dots for a bit of sparkle on the card.

A bit of Fine Tip Glue gives some dimension to the ice cubes and lemon peels.

Fabulous Friends Friday: Pocket Full of Birthday Cheer

Hi!  Happy Friday!  Today I have a 3D project from my amazingly artistic friend Marlene to share with you.   She created this for our most recent swap, with goodies from the new annual catalog.  Specifically, she used the Pocketful of Sunshine Bundle, and that great blue jean texture comes from the Burlap Background Stamp:

The arrow accent on the tag is from the 2016-18 In Color Glitter Acrylic Shapes.  

Marlene tucked a sweet little note card and some chocolate inside the pocket:

That beautiful ribbon is the Night of Navy 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.

New Catalog Party Make and Take #2 - Marbled Tranquil Tulips Note Card

Hi!  Here's another sneak peek for this Sunday's New Catalog Party!  This is a make and take with a few of my favorite new catalog products -- the Tranquil Tulips Host Set, the Marbled Background,  a bit of the new 1/4" Copper Trim and two of the new In Colors on the card -- Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist. :

The base is one of the new Very Vanilla Note Cards.  The "thank you" is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set. 

This card is a modification of these 4-1/4" square cards I created a little earlier this summer:

These cards were done on Whisper White, with a bit of Berry Burst Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and some Gold Baker's Twine from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.

In Color Bookmarks Project for Sunday's New Catalog Party
