SUper Friends Saturday: Manly March Swap
Kallien used the Whiskey Business set to create her fun fold card:
Cathy used an intricate die cut with a nautical theme and Sail Away designer series paper:
Agnes went for a rugged, outdoorsy look, which uses the Mountain Air stamp set:
Margery decked out her card in some fabulous formal wear using the Handsomely Suited stamp set and Suit and Tie Dies:
My card also features the Handsomely Suited stamp set and Suit and Tie Dies (don't you love the versatility of this set of stamps and dies?!!!), but I opted for a more casual look using two different designs from the Well Suited Designer Series Paper:

SUper Friends April Flowers Swap
Hello! Hope you are having a great Monday! Students came back to the school where I work today, my youngest son had his first day of his sophomore year of high school, and my oldest leaves for his freshman year of college tomorrow, so it has been a bit busy around here! Still, I wanted to pop in and finally share some more fabulous projects from my SUper Friends group. These projects are from a swap we did back in April, when we challenged ourselves to make some cards with April flowers.
Jana combined the Hydrangea Haven bundle and Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate for her gorgeous fancy fold card:
Cathy created her beautiful card with the My Wonderful Family Paper Pumpkin kit:
Margery's perfectly pretty card features products from the Pansy Petals Suite Collection as well as the Scallop Contours Dies
Judy-Ann's elegant slimline pairs the Pretty Perennials stamp set and the Stitched So Sweetly dies:
Kallien's marvelous floating card features the Art Gallery stamp set and coordinating designer series paper:
Like Margery, I used the Pansy Petals Suite Collection for my card. I made a modified Tower Card, following a template from Julie Davison. I did a smooshed ink acetate technique for the background, and used Stampin' Blends to color the flowers and sponged the leaves.
Thanks again to the SUper Friends for another wonderful swap! Hope you find these projects inspiring.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog!

SUper Friends Saturday: May Sampler Swap
Hello!!! Welcome back! I'm finally posting some projects that my SUper Friends group created back in May! (And, actually have some swaps from March and April still to share with you, too . . . hopefully very soon!) Our May swap challenge was to create 3x3" artwork with a summer theme, using the colors Pacific Point, So Saffron, Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, and Pear Pizzazz. We did not agree on it in advance, but everyone ended up pairing these colors with Basic White. I think you'll agree with me that everyone did an excellent job with this challenge
Judy-Ann's gorgeous sample pairs the Stitched with Whimsy dies and Pierced Blooms:Kate did some beautiful two-step stamping with the Beach Happy stamp set:
Connie created her pretty summer scene with flowers cut with the Dandy Wishes Dies and a sparkly butterfly cut with the Brilliant Wings Dies:
For her smooth sailing scene, Nancy paired Swirly Scribbles die cuts with some stamping with the Swirly Bird set:
I created my sampler piece with the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set, making the background with a mask from the Here's to You Paper Pumpkin kit and greetings from Sweet Ice Cream:
I wanted the popsicle to glisten, so I heat embossed that with clear embossing powder:
Here's how my sampler turned out, with all these pieces, plus one I created with the After the Storm set:
Happy stamping,
Michelle
