Happy SUper Friends Saturday! Today I have our October swap cards to share with you. Our theme for this swap was holiday.
Jaya's elegant card combines sweet stamped houses created with the Humble Home Bundle and Full of Life Designer Series Paper and a lovely background with the So Swirly Embossing Folder:
Judy created her gorgeous card with the One of a Kind Bundle and White Loose Snowflakes. I love her combination of soft colors and metallics, plus the peek through semi-circle on the side of her card!
Sheila created a beautiful Northern light background for her amazing card! She also has a cozy house created with the Humble Home Bundle, and I love how she cleverly used the Iridescent Faceted Gems to create chimney smoke! She also used the Frosted Forest dies to complete her holiday scene.
Margery's stunning card features some very fancy layering of metallic and designer paper cut with the Decorative Trees Bundle on a background embossed with the Painted Trees Embossing Folder. I love how she added Real Red and White Adhesive Backed Peppermints to decorate her tree!
Jane's stunning card features a background she created by placing white leaf die cuts on white card stock! Then, she created some hanging mistletoe by combining a stamped image and some die cut card stock and designer paper made with the Season of Green and Gold Suite Collection, topped with a beautiful bow! (I love the font Jane used to address the envelope, too!)
For my card, I decided to pair the More than Autumn Bundle with the Round we Go Bundle and create a winter holiday version of Tammy Wilson's amazing Halloween card! For my blended background, I picked a combination of Pretty in Pink and Pool Party, and couldn't decide which of those colors I liked better on top, so made versions each way. I also used the Pool Party Pom Pom Ribbon, White Loose Snowflakes and Pearlized Enamel Effects to add some fun dimension to the card:
Thanks so much to the SUper Friends for another inspiring swap!!!
And, thank you so much for visiting my blog!
