Hello Sunflower Card!

 Finally sharing one of the Sunflower Embossing Folder cards I created using one of the panels I gave you a sneak peek of a while back!  I used a technique on the sunflower panel that I learned from Sharon Armstrong's YouTube tutorial on how to create a Wood Carved look using embossing folders.  For this panel, I used Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Basic Beige, Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso.   I finished the card with some gingham paper from the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, plus some die cut leaves and twine that happened to be on my desk.  The greeting is from the Sunshine Vibes stamp set, and it is stamped on a leftover gold foil and die cut circle from a past paper pumpkin kit.  I also added some of the 2025-2027 Flat Pearls for a finishing touch (and these are part of the In Color Sale from now until August 31, 2025, or while supplies last!)

SUper Friends Sunday: May Inspiration Sheet Swap

 Happy Sunday!  It seems quite appropriate on World Friendship Day to be doing a SUper Friends swap post!  These cards are from our May swap.  For that swap, we drew inspiraton from one of Stampin' Up!'s Inspiration Sheets, which Stampin' Up! used to make for sets in the 2000s.   I still have a binder of these, and selected the inspiration sheet for the Flower Fest stamp set, which looks like it was released in 2006, for us to use as inspiration for our cards.  Our cards could be based on color combos, layouts and shapes in the Inspiration Sheet, but made with current Stampin' Up! products.  Here's a peek at the Inspiration Sheet:

Based on this, Kallien created this beautiful circle easel card, using the Spotlight on Nature dies and Wonderful Thoughts Bundle:

 

Judy's fabulous card features the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle, with a special pocket and pull out panel on the card front:

Margery's wonderful card uses the Mixed Florals Bundle, beautifully watercolored, plus a cute paper bow at the top created with dies from the Notes and Totes Bundle, on top of some of the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper:

Sheila's fun and festive card features the Celebratory Sips Suite and a pull out note card for a fun hidden message:

For my card, I decided to use the newest In Colors along with the Pretty Florals Bundle:
