SUper Friends May CASE the Catalog Cards

Happy Wednesday!   Today I have another fabulous set of cards for you from my SUper Friends group.  These are the cards created for our May CASE (Copy and Share Everything) the Catalog swap to celebrate the release of the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog in May.  For this swap, each person chose a favorite sample in the catalog to recreate either as shown or with their own personal creative touches added.  (It also turns out that now is a great time to share these because Stampin' Up! is having a special sale on the sets in the Annual Catalog for one day only tomorrow, September 15th -- more info on that at the end of this post!)

Margery drew inspiration for her beautiful Daffodil Daydream card from a sample on page 20 of the Annual Catalog.   The card showcases the Daffodil Dies with an assist from one of the Fabulous Frames dies.  A couple creative changes Margery made to her version include making her card a birthday card with a white-embossed sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set, and instead of designer paper, stamping the background using the stone wall stamp from the Peekaboo Farm set -- very clever, right?!

Kallien's gorgeous card comes from a sample for the Pansy Patch Bundle on page 165 of the Annual Catalog.  Kallien changed the colors a bit to shades of Calypso Coral and Old Olive, used a die from Painted Labels for the greeting, and I believe used Stampin' Blends to add just the right shade of yellow to some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels:

Connie S. created her wonderful card with the Let's Set Sail Bundle and Diorama Dies.   I like how she changed the placement of the greeting banner and created a perfectly matching piece for the inside:

Judy-Ann's stunning card is inspired by a Wisteria Wishes sample on page 92 of the Annual Catalog.  Judy-Ann used the Wisteria Wishes stamp set and dies (available as a bundle and save here), but rather than using the Balmy Blue shown in the sample, used a two-step stamping technique to color her wisteria with Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape:

Kate drew inspiration for her lovely card from sample made with the Happiness Abounds stamp set and dies on the Annual Catalog cover.   Kate eliminated the white layer and changed the greeting to a vellum piece to show off more of the gorgeous Hues of Happiness designer paper:

Connie M. chose a sample on page 14 of the Annual Catalog with the Sending Smiles stamp set to inspire her marvelous creation.  She stepped up her version of the card by adding a piece cut with the Sending Dies for the "a card to say hello" part of her greeting:

Cathy's sweet and delightful card is inspired by the Hello Ladybug sample on page 30 of the Annual Catalog.  Cathy kept the layout with two daisies made with the Medium Daisy Punch in the sample, and used the Ladybug Builder Punch to give the ladybug a friend on the second daisy:

Cathy finished the inside of her card with some stamped flowers from the Hello Ladybug set:

The Tea Boutique suite is one of my favorite in the Annual Catalog, so I chose a sample made with it on page 12 to CASE.  I did step-up my card with a die cut piece of vellum behind the tea cup, a stamped image from the Stitchery stamp set along the bottom, and Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels for some sparkle on the die cut hearts.

I used the new Limited Edition stamp set on the back of my card:

And, stamps from Stitchery and Cup of Tea for a dressed up inside:

Thanks so much to the SUper Friends for these excellent cards!!!

I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired by them as well!  In fact, if you are in the U.S. and would like to purchase any of the stamp sets used in these cards, you will be able to get them 15% off only on September 15th (tomorrow, at least at the time I'm writing this -- might be today when you are reading this!)

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Happy Stamping (and sale-shopping)!
Michelle
