Hot Air Balloon Rotating Pop Up Card

Here's a rotating pop up card I created with the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set and Dies.  

And, here's a video of the card in action:

I adapted a tutorial I found in this YouTube video by purple_girl_crafts to create this card.  Her tutorial was for a square card, but it turns out that the mechanism can also work on an A2 size card as well.

This card is also for this week's Global Design Project Challenge (GDP447), which is transportation themed projects!

Thoughtful Journey Cards

 One of my favorite new Suites in the new catalog is the Thoughtful Journey Suite!  (Perhaps you've noticed?)  Here is a set of cards I made using the same layout but different designs from the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

Memorable Meadows March Paper Pumpkin Kit Creations

 This weekend, I finished up the March Memorable Meadows Paper Pumpkin kit!  For Paper Pumpkin subscribers, as of the time of this writing, there are still refill kits available in the online store for this kit!  You can see those (if they are still available) by clicking here. 

When working on my kit, I decided to cut the card bases apart and attach each of the two pieces that created to a Thick Basic White card base, doubling the number of cards I was able to make from this kit!  I also decide to dye all but one of the wooden embellishments that came with the kit.  I swiped Garden Green ink onto the pieces and added some Pecan Pie on the tree pieces with a Stampin' Write Marker for the trunk and branches.  

The first cards I made follow the kit directions pretty closely in design.  Here those are:

("Thanks" is from the Thanks & Beyond dies add on!)

The butterfly here and in the card above are from the Paper Butterfly Accents.  I brushed a bit of Petunia Pop on them!

For the rest, I had great fun using the flower stamps in the kit and fussy cutting those out to add to my cards!  And, you might recognize these as the same flowers I used in the "brightest birthday" card I posted over the weekend, too!

Bright and Cheery Birthday Card with Memorable Meadows and GDP446!

Happy Sunday!  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  I have been working on my Memorable Meadows Paper Pumpkin kit this weekend, and I had a few pieces I'd stamped and fussy cut from that, along with some stamped paper strips from another project a while back that I decided to work into the layout for the current Global Design Project Challenge (gdp446).

The paper strips on the front and inside of the card had been stamped in Petunia Pop with the Drizzling Droplets background stamp.  I brushed on some Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink, and Peach Pie inks for this card.  I decided to give them a bit of texture with the new Cute Crochet Textured Embossing Folder.  

I also used the same colors on the paper strips plus Granny Apple Green for the stampiing on the flowers.   The greeting is from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set.

Sending Some Hearts and Hugs

 Popping in quickly to share a card today!  I made this card with the Hearts and Hugs Bundle, and as I was brushing on Petunia Pop ink on die cuts for another project, ended up with a fun background piece to use for this card!  There's also a Petunia Pop layer embossed with the new Dotted Circles Embossing Folder.

  

I decided to keep the colors simple -- just Petunia Pop, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White!

Mix & Match Fun!

Decided to play with the Mix & Match products today and make some cards of my own!   These were fun to put together!  I'm looking forward to making some more cards this way!

New Catalog Open House Projects Reveal!

We had so much fun at yesterday's New Catalog Open House!  A big thanks to Connie for hosting with me and all her hard work and creativity with that!  I really love the card she designed for us with the Spotlight on Nature Bundle and Country Woods Designer Series Paper!  

Here's a card I created with Connie's design just by using the other side of the beautiful designer series paper.  

We also played with the new Mix and Match Cards, Envelopes and Ephemera Packs, and I have photos of the cards Connie and I created with these at OnStage, that were our samples for these projects:  

We also created a tag or new color sampler with circles from Spotlight on Nature Dies and the Hearts and Hugs Dies.  

And, our last card was with a combination of the Grassy Grove stamp set, Grove Dies and In the Grove Bundles:
