A Dozen Vintage Leaves Thank You Cards

Happy Thursday!  Today, I have a dozen cards to share with you.  The leaves were made using some pieces I'd watercolored during my watercolor techniques play date with Connie M.  I stamped the watercolor pieces with images the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set, then used the coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies to cut them out.  I also used the  "thank you" from Thoughtful Branches, Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, Paisley Framelits and Halloween Night Enamel Dots to create these cards:

So much fun to make these!  Makes me want to grab some watercolor paper and create some more!

How about you?  If you would like any of the supplies to make these, you can click on the links above to find them in my online store!

Paisleys and Posies Thanksgiving Card

Hello!  The weather here has been cloudy and cool, and we've even gotten a bit of rain, which is badly needed!  So, it's really feeling like fall, and I have another fall card created with the Paisleys and Posies Bundle to share with you today:

Here's the inside:

This card uses similar colors to yesterday -- Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Peekaboo Peach again, along with Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, and Emerald Envy.  There is also more of a collage look to the stamping.

The feather-like embellishment is cut from a Copper Foil Sheet using one of the Paisley Framelits Dies.

Paisleys & Posies Fall Note Card

Here's a fall card I created, using the Paisleys and Posies stamp set, combined with the Flourishing Phrasess Bundle:

The colors on this card are Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Old Olive, and Very Vanilla.  The greeting is on pieces cut with the Layering Circle Framelits.

There's a piece of the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon under the greeting as well.

Merry Monday: Stitched with Cheer Kit

Merry Monday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  Today, I have cards to share with you that I created using the Stitched with Cheer kit, and coordinating stamp set:

The kit makes 18 cards, 6 each of three designs, and comes with matching, lined envelopes.
Here are some close ups of the cards, and how I finished some of the insides and backs:

The inside sentiment on this card is from Star of Light.

The sentiment on the back is from the Stitched with Cheer stamp set.

And, after I finished the cards, I still had some fun supplies left:

This kit is a really fun way to create some handmade holiday cards!  You can pick up the supplies you need to create these in my online store here.

Fabulous Friends Friday: SUper Friends October Swap - Holiday 3 x 3 s

Happy Friday!  Hope you are having a great day!  The boys are home with me because they have a Staff Learning Day at school, and we are cleaning and prepping for a dear college friend of Greg's and mine to arrive.  However, I have some gorgeous artwork to share with you from my SUper Friends, so popping in to my blog and typing quickly to share that with you today!  ;)

So, we had a SUper Friends gathering on Monday, and this month's swap challenge was to create 3 x 3 artwork for a sampler (like this one we did earlier this year with a spring theme).  Only this time, we chose a holiday theme!  We settled on Cherry Cobbler, Emerald Envy, a little Real Red and Crumb Cake for our colors, to match a couple of the designer papers in the Holiday Catalog (

Before I show you the amazing 3 x 3s, I want to share a few photos of the display Jana had for us with some of her artwork:

Pretty amazing, right?!!

Okay, on to the 3 x 3s!!!

First up is this fabulous poinsettia artwork by Kallien, using the Festive Flower Builder Punch, Reason for the Season stamp set, Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, vellum for the flower petals, and Gold Metallic Thread:

Jana created this adorable owl and wreath, using the Cozy Critters stamp set with the coordinating Owl Punch and Jolly Hat Builder Punch, Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits, and the Candy Lane Christmas Paper (currently part of the buy 3 get 1 free promo!):

Jana and her mom also created this sweet gingerbread girl artwork, featuring the Cookie Cutter Christmas BundlePresents and Pinecones Designer Paper (also currently part of the buy 3 get 1 free promo!), Decorative Label Punch, and Gold Metallic Thread:

Jane created her gorgeous artwork using the Christmas Pines Bundle (which I've been trying to resist, but this isn't helping a bit!), Softly Falling embossing folder, and Gold Ribbon:

Connie M. did some beautiful watercoloring for her artwork, which shows off the Christmas Magic stamp set:

Nancy created this elegant wreath, using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and coordinating framelits:

Margery's clever and adorable creation uses the solid circle-ish image from Swirly Bird for the hamster's body, eyes and ears are from Cookie Cutter Christmas, present is from Cozy Critters stamp set, and I think the grass is from Sheltering Tree

Agnes created a beautiful and peaceful scene using images from the Greetings for Santa stamp set, some Gold Metallic Thread, and sequins:

For her lovely creation, Judy-Ann combined the Softly Falling embossing folder, Burlap Ribbon, Peaceful Pines stamp set, and coordinating Perfect Pines Framelits:

My contribution is this reindeer, created with the Santa's Sleigh Bundle, wearing a  Mini Jingle Bell on his bow, a Pearl Jewel nose (colored with a Cherry Cobbler Blendability, though if you don't happen to have one of those in your stash, another type of alcohol-based marker would work!), with some Fancy Frost paper in the backgound, Mica Flakes "snow" on the ground, and a white gel pen colored tail:

Jana was testing out an arrangement on some of the Presents and Pinecones Designer Paper  here:

And, yesterday, I put my swaps into a frame -- I decided to use Kraft 12 x 12 card stock for the background, with some of the Fabulous Foil Acetate layered over the top of that:

Here's another view:

And, here's an adorable bonus project I received from Judy-Ann (and she made one for the rest of the SUper Friends, too -- I'll give this to you when I get her swap to you!):

The tag is made using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Cookie Cutter Halloween set, and Cookie Cutter Builder Punch.

Completed Tin of Tags Project Kit

Have lots of photos for you today from a fun project I completed a little while back -- the Tin of Tags kit from the Holiday Catalog!  Here are all the tags I created with this kit, plus the cute tin to hold the tags (and still had washi tape and some other supplies to spare!):

I used the coordinating Tin of Tags stamp set to stamp the tags, and followed the kits directions with only a few variations:

These tags probably had the biggest variation from the instructions -- I squished the wooden bow elements that come in the kit into some Versamark and then used the Real Red Glitter Stampin' Emboss Powder from the Holiday Catalog to emboss them a festive, glittery red!  Here's a closer up view of that:

And, here are all the tags in their cute polka dot tin:

Stampin' Up! also has a great video with instructions for this kit:
