New Catalog Ribbon and Embellishment Share

Hi!  I'm back!!!  And, the new 2017-18 Stampin' Up! Catalog is out this month, which means lots of fun new stamps, ribbons, embellishments and more!  I've decided to put together a couple of shares -- one for new ribbons and one for new embellishments (or, if you'd like, you can get both and save a little money!  Whoo Hoo!)  

Here's a photo of my ribbon sampler:

It includes:

2 yards of Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon

In all that's 20 yards of 10 types of ribbon for only $ 17 (plus shipping for those who are not local)!  If you were to buy full packages of all of these ribbons, it would cost about $85!!

Some fun facts about the ribbon -- the Cherry Cobbler Double Stitched Ribbon has x's on one side and a double row of straight stitches on the other, as you can see here:

The Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon has a beautiful golden glimmer and sheen to it -- a bit difficult to photograph, but you can catch a glimpse of it here in this close up:

There are some great patterns and textures in this ribbon -- check out the Soft Sky Classic Weave and Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron in this close up, for example, and perhaps my favorite, the Calypso Coral Ombre:
