SUper Friends October Halloween Treats and Card Swap

Hi again!  Today I am back with some more fabulous projects created by my SUper Friends demonstrator group.  These projects are from our October swap, which had a fall and Halloween card or treat theme!

First up, the cards!

Connie M.'s splendid autumn card is made with the Rooted in Nature Bundle:

For her beautiful autumn card, Nancy did a faux baby wipe technique with the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set:

Agnes created this adorably spooky Halloween card, using elements from the September Frights and Delights Paper Pumpkin kit (refills still available here at the time I'm writing this post):

And now, on to the treats!!!

To create her sweet pumpkin jar treat holder, Kallien used the Everyday Jars Framelits dies, leaves from the Stitched Seasons Framelits, and embossed an image from the Stitched Labels Framelits dies:

Judy-Ann dressed up a gable box in fantastically spooktacular style, with lots of sponging, a fence and tree from the Farmhouse Framelits, and bats and stamping from the Spooky Sweets Bundle:

Jana also used the Spooky Sweets Bundle, along with the Takeout Thinlits Dies, and Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon for her delightful treat box:

That beautiful Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon made another appearance on Connie S.'s fabulously folded treat box, along with a pretty Black Foil cat (love those green rhinestone eyes!):

Margery created a treat box with the Takeout Thinlits Dies, decorated with fun elements from the Warm Hearted Stamp Set, Cauldron Bubble Bundle, Seasonal Tags Framelits, and Seasonal Chums Stamp Set:

I created a combination luminary and treat box using the Window Box Thinlits and Still Night Bundle:

I found some fun color-changing battery operated tealights to use in these as well.  Have a video of the lights changing through the owl window that I will try to share here soon.

Hope you enjoyed these projects!

Thanks for visiting!

SUper Friends September Clean and Simple Cards Swap

Hello!!!  I can't believe it has already been more than a month since my last post -- October just flew by!  I have lots of projects to share with you, but wanted to start with some amazing creations from my talented SUper Friends!  These are from a clean and simple card swap we did way back at our September gathering!

Kallien created her elegant card with the Floral Phrases Stamp Set:

Connie M's beautiful card combines images from the Dandelion Wishes and Bokeh Dots stamp sets with a wonderful fall color combo:

Nancy added a perfect bit of subtle sparkle and texture to her sweet thank you card, using the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, coordinating Love What You Do stamp set, Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, and Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

Margery's fun tropical card features a fabulous tri-toned paper-piecing technique with the Tropical Chic Bundle:

Jane created her stunning card with the Detailed Floral Thinlits, a greeting from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set, and some perfectly placed pearl accents:

Jana created her fun and festive card with the Beautiful Baubles stamp set, expertly colored with Stampin' Blends, on a square cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and framed with a sparkly piece of Glimmer Paper, cut with a scallop edged square from the Layering Squares Framelits Dies:

Judy-Ann's terrific treat of a Halloween card is made with a witch and banner from the Toil and Trouble Designer Series Paper, greeting from the Spooky Sweets stamp set, and stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies:

Agnes created some gorgeous cards using the August 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit Blissful Blooms:

For my creation, I combined images from the So Santa stamp set, colored with Stampin' Blends, with the Buffalo Check Background stamp, a square cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, and some Mixed Satin Ribbon:

Hope you enjoyed these creations, and they inspire you to create some fabulous clean and simple cards of your own!

Lilypad Lake Bendy Card

Hello!  Happy October!  Have a "Bendy Card" to share with you today that I created with the Lilypad Lake Bundle.

Here's the card open:

I followed this tutorial from Beccy's Place to create the base for my Bendy Card.  I created the sky using Brusho Crystal Colors, and colored the stamped images using Stampin' Blends.

Thanks so much for visiting!

Animal Expedition Fancy Fold Card

Happy Sunday!  Today I have a Triple Z Fold Card to share with you that I created following instructions from Kim Williams in this blog post.  I chose designs from the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper for my card:

I love that the Animal Friends Thinlits cut out images from the designer series paper -- making it quick and easy to create a fun card!

The greeting is from the Animal Outing stamp set (also available as a bundle with the Animal Friends Thinlits here), and is stamped on one of the small labels from the Share What You Love Embellishment kit:

I added a couple Faceted Dots around the greeting, and a larger one in the center of one of the Tropical Elements flowers, which I had colored with the Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends:

The twine around the bottom of the card is from the Share What You Love Embellishment kit.

Hope you enjoyed this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Impressionist Thank You Big Time

Hi!  Happy Tuesday!  Wanted to pop in and do a quick card share with you:

I created the Impressionist-style background for this card using Watercolor Paper, painted with leftover Shimmery Embossing Paste that I had dyed with Brusho for another project.  The greeting is from the Animal Outing set, stamped on a piece of Whisper White cut with a Stitched Labels Framelits die.

Hope you like this project!  Thanks for visiting!

August SUper Friends Swaps and More

Hello!  Apologies for the silence here on my blog!  Back to school has really kept me busy . . . in fact, I can't believe it has been more than a month since I last posted here!  Doesn't feel like it has been that long.  I've still been stamping during that time, and had a wonderful gathering with many of my SUper Friends demonstrator group last month!  We swapped at our gathering, and I'm very excited to show you the cards everyone created.  Our swap theme was CASE the Catalog, though original designs were welcome, too!  (For those who haven't heard the term "CASE" before, it is an acronym in the stamping world, which is short for "Copy and Share Everything").

Agnes, inspired by a South African safari this summer, created her fabulous card with the Animal Outing Bundle.  She also used the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder:

Connie M.'s beautiful fall card was inspired by the design on the lower left corner of page 42 of the Holiday Catalog.  She used the Country Home stamp set, colored with Stampin' Blends, Country Lane Designer Series Paper, Chicken Wire Elements, and Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder:

Jana's design inspiration for her festive Dashing Deer card came from the banner on page 8 of the Holiday Catalog.  Jana also used the new Buffalo Check stamp setSoftly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Stitched Labels Framelits (to create the doily on top of her banner!), and a touch of Burlap Ribbon

Jana finished the inside of her card with one of the smaller deer images from the set (apologies about the blurry photo!):

Judy-Ann's gorgeous card is created based on the sample with Cake Soiree on page 79 of the Annual Catalog.  Judy-Ann used the Sweet Cake Framelits to die cut the cake and cake stand, Watercolor  Pencils to color the frosted details on the cake, and the pretty leaves in the background are from the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder:

Judy-Ann added a sweet little flower stamp from the Cake Soiree set inside her card:

Jen created her darling card with the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set and Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper:

She also dressed up the inside with some stamping:

Kallien created her stunning trifold card with the Bouquet Blooms Bundle, based on a sample from page 167 of the Annual Catalog:

Here's a peek inside:

Kate's sweet Daisy Delight card is inspired by a design on page 123 of the Annual Catalog:

And, she used a fun sponging technique to create an area for the message inside, along with a daisy from the stamp set (apologies again for the fuzzy photo!):

Margery created this adorable window card with the Best Bunny Bundle, Striped Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch:

Here's the card open:

And a close up on the sweet bunny backside:

Nancy's card features an abstract art background created with Brusho Crystal Color on Watercolor Paper:

Like Connie M., I drew my inspiration from page 42 of the Holiday Catalog, and created this fall card with the Country Home stamp set, colored with Stampin' Blends, and used the Chicken Wire Elements and Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The fibers behind the focal image are separated strands of Burlap Ribbon.

I prepared a make and take for the gathering, with the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle.  We used the Thinlits die from the bundle to create the background of the card, using the Big Shot Embossing Mats.  The snowflake element was die cut using the same die and Glimmer Paper:

As if that isn't enough, I also have a couple bonus projects to share with you!

Jen gave me this wonderful treat box, made with the Takeout Treats Bundle from the Holiday Catalog:

Here's a closer look at the tag she created:

Hope you enjoyed these amazing projects and are inspired to create some of your own.  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!!!
