Gingerbread Home Sweet Home

Greetings!  A quick post today to share a fun project with you -- a gingerbread house I made using the Sweet Home Bundle:

I created the house using Kraft Cardstock, with the adornments die cut from Whisper White.  The "candies" were stamped in Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, and Sweet Sugarplum (of course!).

I've been busily finishing up another project with this Bundle for a swap with my friend Marlene.  Looking forward to sharing that with you here soon, too!  :)

Thanks for visiting!

Four for Fabulous Friends Friday!

It's Fabulous Friends Friday again!!!  I have four amazing cards to share with you today!

Here is a gorgeous card I received from Judy-Ann this week:

Connie M. sent me this stunning card:

Products Connie used to create this beauty include the Vintage Leaves Stamp set , Leaflets Framelits, Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper, and Sparkle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

I was also able to attend a fun open house at Connie M.'s house, and create these two wonderful cards she designed:

This one uses Vintage Leaves Stamp set Leaflets Framelits, and the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

And, this festive card uses the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle, Peaceful Pines Stamp Set and coordinating Perfect Pines Framelits, Layering Ovals Framelits, and Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Hope these inspire you to create something fabulous, too!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  I'm so thankful for you, my stamping friends!!!

Thought it would be appropriate to share these cards with you today -- these are Vintage Leaves thank you cards like the cards I showed you in this post; however, I used the new Stitched Shapes Framelits for the greeting oval on these.  I love how the Stitched Shapes Framelits layer with the Layering Ovals, Circles and Squares!

Stamps Vintage Leaves and Thoughtful Branches
Ink:  Early Espresso for greeting and outline on leaves; leaves are watercolored with Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede

Accessories: Stitched Shapes FramelitsLeaflets Framelits Dies, Layering Ovals Framelits, Paisley Framelits Dies, Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing FolderGold Metallic Thread, and Metallic Enamel Shapes

While the Stitched Shapes Framelits were so popular they've temporarily sold out, there still are a number of coordinating stamp sets available at 25% off until the end of November!  Don't miss out on these great deals!  And, if you did miss out on the Stitched Shapes Framelits and would like them, please let me know, and I'll be sure to notify you when they are available again!

Autumn Blooms and Wishes

Today I have some quick cards made with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Blooms & Wishes stamp set, which is currently part of the 25% off promotion, so a great time to get this versatile set, if you haven't already!  The Stitched Shapes Framelits were so popular that they've gone on backorder, and are currently unavailable, but hopefully will be back soon!  (If you missed out on these, and would like me to let you know when they are back in stock, please leave a comment on this post or send me an email).  On to the cards!

For this first one I used a color combo of Pumpkin Pie, Peekaboo Peach, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, and Flirty Flamingo.  There's a loop of Peekaboo Peach Ruched ribbon under the greeting, which is from the Blooms & Wishes set.

I dropped the Flirty Flamingo on this next card, and straightened out the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon.

And, I decided to dress up the card a bit more with a heart from the 2016-18 In Color Enamel Shapes.

I was having so much fun stamping the blooms, I couldn't resist decorating the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope with them, too!

To stamp the circle for the center of the smallest flowers, I used a pencil eraser.  Another handy tip I saw in one of my online demonstrator groups is for enamel shape storage, you can use an empty gum container like this:

Keeps the shapes so nice and neat!!!

Here's the full list of stamps available at 25% off through the end of this month (or you can click here to see them in my online store):

And don't forget about the Online Extravaganza going on through the 28th!

Soccer Thank Yous

Happy Saturday!  It's been a rainy day here, and I've been able to visit a couple craft shows and even do quit a bit of stamping on my own projects!!!  So, that's been wonderful!  Hope you are having a great Saturday, too!

Last weekend was the end of the regular soccer season for my youngest son.  Earlier in the season, I had made some thank you cards for his team to sign for Referee Appreciation Day, and here's how those turned out:

The soccer ball and stamp behind it are from a retired stamp set, Great Sport.  The "thanks" die cut is from the Hello You Thinlits.  I cut a "thanks" from both Whisper White and Basic Black, then layered them.  (The idea for that came from a card made by my friend Judy-Ann, which you can see here).  The shiny star at the end of the thanks is a Metallic Enamel shape.  By the way, you'll want to be sure to stock up on these during the 24-hour special on them on Monday, November 21st!!!  The green on the card is Emerald Envy.

I used the same layout for the coaches thank you cards, just changing the color to Soft Sky, since that was pretty much the boys' uniform color.  I embossed the background stamps from Great Sport in Silver Embossing Powder.  And, for this card I decided to reverse the Whisper White and Basic Black on the thanks:

I'm really loving the Thick Whisper White for making sturdy card bases, too!  That's what I used for these, and they held up beautifully through having 13 players and their parents signing the cards!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!  Watch for more info about the Online Extravaganza coming soon!!!

Fabulous Friends Friday!

Happy Friday!!!  I have a few projects to share with you today from a couple of fabulous friends!

First is this gorgeous birthday card I received from Judy-Ann:

And, she gave me a gift in this perfectly coordinating box:

Beautiful, right?!  Judy-Ann created these using supplies from the Chalk It Up to Love Paper Pumpkin Refill kit, which is still available while supplies last!

The next project is this festive treat box I received from Margery:

She made it using the Baker's Box Thinlits, Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper, and Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  Such a wonderful way to give some Christmas goodies!!!

So grateful to have such creative friends in my life!

A Couple New Cards for my Holiday Card and Tag Class!

Hi, everyone!  Had a little bit of time to stamp yesterday and FINALLY finished the last couple cards for tomorrow's Holiday Card and Tag class!  Whew!  Just in time!!!

Here they are, actually taken with just some slight modifications from some ideas Stampin' Up! provided for demonstrators with the awesome new Stitched Framelits, which have been selling so well, they will soon be backordered and unavailable (so, don't miss out, be sure to get your orders in for these before November 21st!!!):

Aren't the soft colors on this card pretty?  Hard to see in the photo, but there is "snow" under the deer and trees, which glitters nicely!  The stamp set used on this one is Greetings from Santa, which is 25% off through the end of November!

For this card, the stamp sets used are Baby Bear, which is another set available for 25% off through the end of November, and Stitched with Cheer (which will be 10% off from during the upcoming Online Extravaganza, from November 21-28!!)

The designer series paper used on the card is Presents and Pinecones, and that's some Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon peeking out from behind the stitched circle!

Here are all the cards that will be available in tomorrow's class:

Thinking of You Christmas Card

Hello!  This past week has been busy, but had a couple minutes today, so wanted to pop in and share a card!  This one is a card I created using the Time of Year hostess set with Emerald Envy and Real Red:

The greeting is cut out with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits, the swirly background strip is made with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, and the flower is created with the Botanical Builder Framelits.  The flower center is a White Perfect Accent, from which I removed the white back (actually happened accidentally, but I like the result!).   And there's a bit of the Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon along the bottom.

Hope you are having a great day!  Thanks for visiting my blog!

Red, White, and Blue . . .

Hi, everyone!  Since this is a big decision day here in the U.S., I thought it would be appropriate to share a patriotic-colored project!  This is actually one I created this summer as part of a pre-Fourth of July swap with my friend Marlene, just haven't had a chance to share yet!

So, here it is:

I wrapped the cookie box with a piece of Real Red designer paper from the Brights Designer Series Paper Stack.  Then, I tied a piece of the Real Red Stitched Satin Ribbon around that.  The tag is made from a piece of Pool Party, cut with one of the Stars Framelits Dies and stamped with an image from the You're So Sweet Stamp Set.  I created the heart and butterfly pieces using dies from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlets.  I attached the tag, and a bit of Whisper White Pom Pom Trim, to the red ribbon with a piece of Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine.

Thought that was a fun way to dress up some goodies!  Definitely something that could easily be adapted for other occasions as well!

Merry Monday: Stitched with Cheer Wreath Card

Hi!  Hope you had a great weekend!  Today, I have a card for you that I created using some leftovers from the Stitched with Cheer kit   and coordinating stamp set (you might remember the cards I created with the kit from this post):

I punched some additional holly, plus the berries using the Holly Berry Builder Punch.  The bow is made with the Jar of Love Bundle.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Fabulous Friends Friday: Amazing Birthday Cards!

Happy Friday!  Hope you've had a wonderful day!  Has been a busy, but beautiful fall day here!  The leaves around here are changing color, and the weather is crisp in the morning and just right in the afternoon, so I'm really enjoying that!

I have a treat for you today!  These are some gorgeous cards that I received for my birthday last week!!!

This beautiful card is from Connie M., and is made with the Best Birds Bundle:

Marlene sent me this dramatic shaker card, which has a couple neat techniques with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder inside the shaker window (she inked the folder before embossing) and the designer paper piece from the Warmth and Cheer Pack is embossed with the Cable Knit folder:

Connie S. sent me this lovely stepped-up card made with the October Paper Pumpkin kit (a bit hard to tell from the photo, but the greeting is embossed with Copper Powder!  So stunning in real life):

This sweet card, created from the Oh Happy Day Card Kit is from Linda:

This rock star card made with the Marquee Messages set is from the superstar of the #imbringingbirthdaysback movement, Shannon West (she's getting close to her 2000 card goal -- my card is #1754!):

And, this stunning card with the Moroccan Nights stamp set and greeting from Watercolor Wishes is from Jan (and had to show off her beautiful #imbringingbirthdaysback envelope, too!):

If you don't have your special #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp yet, you can get yours here!

Thanks for the amazing cards, ladies!!!

And, thank you for visiting my blog!

October Paper Pumpkin Season of Gratitude Shaker Cards

Last Friday was a Paper Pumpkin Power Hour, and I managed to get my October kit completed!!! Well, I should say I managed to finish the 8 cards the kit was designed to make.  I plan to make some more cards with some leftover pieces from the kit, but haven't had a chance to do that yet.

The October kit is called Season of Gratitude, and I liked the design so well, I followed the instructions pretty exactly!  Here are two of the cards I made that way:

And, here's my slight variation (just moved the greeting off center!):

A bit hard to tell from my photos, but these are shaker cards, with some wonderful fall-colored sequins that shake around in the leaf windows.  As we were creating these, Connie M. came up with the great idea of creating smaller compartments around each leaf, so that the sequins would stay closer to each leaf rather than ending up on one side of the card or the other!  We were ble to do this by using the foam adhesive strips that came in the kit not just around the leaves, but also in between them.  Thankfully, Stampin' Up! was generous with those, so there were more than enough to do that on all the cards!

Just checked, and there are still refill kits available for this kit!  So, if you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber and would like to make more, you can order those here (available while supplies last!)  And, if you are not a subscriber yet, you'll want to sign up before November 10th!  Stampin' Up! has given us a sneak peek at this month's box and it looks wonderful!  (You can see the sneak peek, get more information about, or sign up for Paper Pumpkin here).
