Happy Friday! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Mine is -- I'm having fun attending a virtual stamping retreat starting today! I also have another set of amazing projects to share with you from my SUper Friends team of demonstrators. These are from our November swap, when we exchanged Christmas cards that could hold gift cards. I loved seeing the different approaches everyone took to this challenge, and I am certain you will enjoy these, too!
Judy-Ann's marvelous creation features the Sweetest Time Bundle:
Check out this fun-fold card open -- there's even a pocket with a sweet bookmark on the side:
And, tucked behind is a pocket for the gift card:
And, her card opens up to reveal a clever pop-up bag as the gift card holder:
For her elegant card, Nancy also took a creative approach to her gift card holder, folding back part of the card front to create a built-in gift card pocket:
Her gift card holder is attached inside the card, and coordinates perfectly with the card front:
Cathy's captivating card shows off the Stitched Circles dies, a bit of texture, and some fun sparkle with one tree cut from Gold Glimmer paper, which coordinates nicely with the gold edging on the ribbon:
The inside of Cathy's card coordinates beautifully with the front, and she cleverly die cut, sponged and added ribbon to create and accentuate her gift card holder:
For her creation, Kallien designed this eye-catchingly lovely square card, which shows off the poinsettia design from the
Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper as well as the new
Curvy Dies:
When opened, a pop up card holder appears in the center of Kallien's card, for a fun surprise:
My card is a Fold Out Gift Card Holder (I followed these
instructions from Patty Bennett for making this style of card), decorated with Trimming the Town Designer Paper and stamped images from the Warm & Toasty, Freezin' Fun, and Press On Stamp Sets:
The gift card holder pocket is in the center of the fold out:
Pull the ribbon, and this awesome surprise gift card holder, with images from
Game On pops out:
Jana's gorgeously rustic card features the Merry Moose stamp set and punch with the
Buffalo Check background stamp:
And, her top panel of this fun fold opens to reveal a fabulous slider-gift-card holder:
I love how Jana added hand-drawn stitching accents as well!
Hope you enjoyed and are as inspired by these amazing ideas as much as I am! These gift card ideas and techniques can easily be adapted for birthday, anniversary, graduation, and other occasions as well!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
Happy stamping!
