Paper Pumpkin Sprinkled With Love -- Part 2

Hi!  Here are some more alternate cards I created with the May 2017 Sprinkled With Love kit this summer.  These were inspired by some great ideas I'd seen on Pinterest for alternative projects (here's the link to my board for this kit, if you'd like to check that out).

These card were mini donuts, created using Circle Framelits and one of the flower dies from the Eclectic Layers Thinlits:

The next cards have donut piles inspired by Rachel Tessman's creations in this post and this card by the crafty yogi:

I decided to CASE this card by Monika Davis

Then, I created some variations on that theme:

And, finally, decided to create a card with a bunch of the hearts and a few sweet little flowers (created with the little flower on the Tree Builder Punch, and shaped with a stylus pressed in the center, before adding a pearl to the center):

Hope you enjoyed these!  Thanks so much for visiting my blog!

Paper Pumpkin Sprinkled With Love Projects -- Part 1

Hi!   I've got Paper Pumpkin on the brain today because it is the 10th and that is the last day to sign up for this month's kit!  (So, if you haven't done that yet, be sure to head over to www.paperpumpkin.com and do that!  You won't want to miss out on this month's kit, which promises to be filled with projects for Christmas giving!)  Anyway, I came across some cards I created with the May 2017 Sprinkled With Love kit this summer and thought it's about time I share those!

These first sets of cards are created following the directions that came with the kit, with only a slight variation here and there:

However, I had seen lots of great ideas on Pinterest for alternative projects (here's the link to my board for this kit!), so decided to try some of those out!  The next two cards were inspired by these cards by Cathy Caines.  I used Circle Thinlits to create the donut, with pieces from the kit for the icing, and the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die for the greeting:

I had so much fun with these, I ended up making lots more cards.  Here's a sneak peek at my box filled with all I created:

Stay tuned for more photos of my alternate cards, coming soon!

A Birthday Tag with Balloons and Sparkle

Hi!  Did you miss me?  I'm back after a bit of vacation time -- was great to have a chance to visit some of our family in the Midwest and spend some relaxing time at the Lake of the Ozarks!  Still need to upload photos from our trip, and will see about sharing some of those after I do!  In the meantime, I have a fun project to share with you that I created for my fabulous friend and swapping buddy Marlene for her birthday -- and was able to include in my last swap box to her!  I dressed up a package of chocolates with a fun tag.  Here it is:

And, here's the back of the tag:

Supplies used for the tag (follow the links to see them in my online store):

Stamps:  Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set (available in a bundle and save with the Happy Birthday Thinlits, also used on this project!)

Ink:  Berry Burst

Tools & Accessories:  Happy Birthday Thinlits (cut one piece out of Berry Burst and one from Flirty Flamingo and layer), Balloon Bouquet Punch, Gold Binder Clips, Glitter Enamel Dots, Berry Burst 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon, Linen Thread, Clear Wink of Stella (on balloons -- photos don't catch it, but really sparkly and pretty in real life!)

Those with sharp eyes might recognize the top Happy Birthday die cut as the piece that was cut out from this card I showed you a couple weeks ago.

Thanks for visiting my blog!!!

Happy Birthday Daisies

Happy Tuesday!  Quick post today to share a fun birthday card I created with the new Daisy Delight stamp set and coordinating punch (which has been wildly popular and consequently hard to catch in stock!):

The "Happy Birthday" is actually a negative, left when I die cut the words out of the Berry Burst layer.  I carefully glued the little center pieces of the letters back in, and used the die cut words on another project (stay tuned for that!)

Supplies Used:
Stamps:  Daisy Delight stamp set
Ink:  Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink
Paper:  Whisper White, Berry Burst, and Lemon Lime Twist
Accessories:  Daisy punch, Happy Birthday Thinlits Die, Gold Faceted Gem

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!
