Today I am sharing the second of the birdhouse treat boxes I have finished, again using directions from Brenda Quintana (here's the link if you'd like to check those out and see the wonderful In Color boxes she created!).
For this box, I started with a Pecan Pie base. I added another pattern from the Country Woods Designer Series paper for the front of the house. This time I added die cut Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie Card Stock for the eaves of the roof, and Pecan Pie Card Stock embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder for the roof.
The birds are colored with Lemon Lolly and Peach Pie Stampin' Blends. I think maybe these are closest to a warbler or maybe a saffron finch? At any rate, I though the yellow was a fun contrast with the designer series paper.
The flowers and leaves are die cuts from the Country Birdhouse Dies, which I also colored with Stampin' Blends (Old Olive Light and Dark for the leaves and Pumpkin Pie Dark for the flower centers).
