Flowers for Every Season and the New In Colors -- SUper Friends May Make and Take Projects

Last month, my SUper Friends group did our second virtual gathering, and I decided for that one, it would be fun if we had some make and takes to do together.  I put together kits for those attending to be able to make three different projects:  an In Color bookmark, a full size card make with the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More Card Pack, and a sunflower note card.  Everyone's kit was slightly different.  Here's how mine turned out:

Here's a closer view of the In Color bookmark, which was created with the strips of each color from this year's In Color Designer Series Paper Pack (I love the designs on this, and will definitely be buying more of this and other color families!!!) and In Color Ribbon (my bookmark has the Just Jade):

We also used the In Color Designer Series Paper on our sunflower notecards, made with die cuts in Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, and Just Jade from the Sunflowers Dies.  The greeting is from the coordinating Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, die cut with the Tasteful Labels Dies.  The card is embellished with a bow in Just Jade Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo:

I had a leftover kit after the event and decided to make an even more stepped up version of the card, stamping and sponging on the sunflower with the coordinating stamps from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and using a greeting from the Share Sunshine download:

Our third project was a card made with the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More Card Pack and coordinating card bases and envelopes.   Here is the one I made during our meeting:

That has a greeting from the Share Sunshine download, die cut with one of the Tasteful Labels Dies.  And, here is a different card I created with pieces in a leftover kit:

The greetings on this one are from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set.  The Magenta Madness and Whisper White Baker's Twine on the card is some I had leftover from the May Paper Pumpkin kit.

Hope you like these cards!  Which is your favorite of the new In Colors?  Please leave me a comment and let me know.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Grace's Garden Fancy Fold Card

Hi!  Happy Summer!  I've definitely been away from my blog much longer than I intended, but am excited to get back to blogging and sharing the projects I've been working on the past few months!  I decided to start with a fancy fold card that I created using the Grace's Garden stamp set, the Garden Gateway Dies, and the My Meadow Stamp Set.  I started with a trifold card, created from a 12 x 12" piece of card stock, cut down to 12" x 5-1/2", then scored at 4" and 8" along the 12" side.  I cut windows into the two sides of the trifold, and added a smaller card made with Whisper White card stock to the center piece.  Here is how it turned out:

And, a view from the back:

I used Stampin' Blends to color the flowers and cats, and the stone walk is embossed with the Stone embossing folder that was available during Sale-a-Bration.

This was a fun card to create!  Hope you find it inspiring!!!

Thanks so much for visiting!
