September Paper Pumpkin Grateful for You Card

Hi!  Happy Thursday!  I have a fun fall card to share with you today, and it is a bit of a milestone card as it is the first full card I ever completed on a Facebook Live!  I did a Paper Pumpkin unboxing yesterday with the September With Love and Gratitude kit (there are still refills available here for this kit as of this writing), and decided to put together a quick card after that with stamps from the kit, one of the gold die cut pieces from the kit, one of the Brushed Gold Cards and Envelopes, and a few other supplies that were already on my desk!  Here's how the card turned out:

The leaves were stamped in Lost Lagoon and Pebbled Path using a sort of modified rock and roll technique (I inked first with Lost Lagoon, went around the edges with Pebbled Path, but then decided I wanted some ink in the middle of the stamp, too, so added that by tapping the edge of the ink pad carefully into just a couple spots in the center of the stamp).  The pumpkin and greeting are on a circle of Basic White cut with one of the new Deckled Circles Dies, and that is matted with a piece of Pretty Peacock cut with the next size up Deckled Circle.

A pretty quick and easy card!  I am debating whether it could use some additional embellishment . . . maybe a couple sequins, gold pearls, or a bow?  What do you think?  Please leave a comment and let me know.

Beary Christmas to You!

Greetings!  Yesterday, I showed you this collage of sample cards I made with the Beary Christmas Memories and More kit for the new catalog party on Sunday.  All of these cards use the 4 x6" cards from the pack, as well as pieces from the sticker sheets:

I also made another card for a friend using one of the 3 x 4" cards from the pack, plus sticker pieces and the Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins, and wanted to share that with you as well:

I love how quickly and easily you can put together some really cute Christmas cards with this Memories and More Card Pack and the coordinating Cards and Envelopes!  (The Memories and More Card Pack is not orderable at the time I am writing this, but should be back in stock around October 9th).

New Catalog Party Time!

Hi!  Happy Tuesday!  Sunday afternoon was so much fun!  A big thanks to Connie for co-hosting a new catalog party with me! We were so happy to have a good number of friends join us for an afternoon of card making and socializing -- another big thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make it so much fun!  Here are some of our action shots and selfies:

Here are our displays and party favors:

Here's a closer look at the favors.  They were from past Paper Pumpkin kits (the baskets with note cards are from the July 2018 Picnic Paradise kit and the pillow boxes are from the September 2017 Layered Leaves kit) and from Boutique Boxes Designer kit (which made the rectangular boxes with feather decorations and little notecards to go with each box, and was also a bit of a blast from the past!):

We also had three make and takes for everyone to create.  Connie used the beautiful All About Autumn Suite for her make and take, which was a "stack, cut and swap" card inspired by Patty Bennett (this is a really great technique to make three cards at once with designer paper).  My make and take featured a fast and fun card with the Beary Christmas Memories and More Card Pack and coordinating cards and envelopes plus the Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins.  And, everyone could pick a tag to make from the Festive Tags kit.  Here are photos of those projects:

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these projects!

Meaningful Flowers Finch Fold Card

Hello!  I have one more card to share with you today from my time making finch fold cards with Judy and Jana last week.  This card was made with pieces from the August 2023 Meaningful Flowers Paper Pumpkin kit.  When I brought it home, here's how the card looked:

Judy had the idea to add strips of Lemon Lolly in the blank panels on either side of the focal image, and I thought that sounded perfect!  I decided to emboss the Lemon Lolly card stock with the new Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder (from the September to December Mini Catalog).

Here's how the finished card turned out:

Please let me know if you have any questions about this card!

I just received notice that my September Paper Pumpkin kit shipped today!  Can't wait for it to arrive in my mail box!  Still need to finish my August kit . . . let's see if I can do that before the September one arrives!

Fabulous Friends Fun Fold Friday!!!

Happy Friday!  Hope you are having a great day!  I'll admit I got a little carried away with the alliteration for the post title!   It is accurate, though, as I have a fun fold card to share with you that I made along with some very fabulous friends!

I was able to spend a little crafty time with my friends Jana and Judy this week, and Judy brought along instructions for us to make the flying finch fun fold card by Susan Campfield.  We actually made two of this type of card, but for today I only have photos of one of those two cards ready to go.  I just finished a couple panels on the other card and should have the photos of that ready to go soon (stay tuned!)

For this card, we decided to use the Cheers to the Season set from the new September-December Catalog as the focal image:

We stamped fall leaves in the background in Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron, and used some plaid designer series paper and a twine bow to finish off our cards!

I'm looking forward to making some more of this fun fold!  And, I know there is a similar fun fold called the flying seagull that I may have to give a try, too!  Have you tried these?  Leave me a comment and let me know, if so!  Would love to see what you've made!

Thanks for stopping by!
